Points & exchange rates
Every skill has a points-per-hour rate. Points compare the value of two sides of a swap — they are not money and cannot be bought or sold.
Each skill has a points-per-hour rate. When you arrange a swap, both sides must have an equal total points value. Points simply measure whether the exchange is fair — they are not a currency, wallet, or spendable balance.
Example swap
Garden weeding
2 hours · 3 pts/hr = 6 points

Computer troubleshooting
1.33 hours · 4.5 pts/hr = 6 points
Fair swap — 6 points each side
If one side has more points than the other, you can adjust the hours until both sides balance. For example, 2 hours of garden weeding at 3 pts/hr (6 points) equals 1 hour of logo design at 6 pts/hr (6 points).
